Aluminum (Heavy Metal & Toxic)

Accumulates in bone, liver, kidneys and brain. Follows phosphate. Interferes with bone mineralization, binds to brain calmodulin, associated with neuronal plaques.

Accumulates in adrenals, thyroid, kidney, liver, spleen and bone. Clears rapidly fro blood. Inhibits various enzymes.

Symptoms:

Excess Antimony affects liver function, impairs enzymes and may interfere with sulfur chemistry, disrupt purine metabolism (results in elevation of blood & urine hypoxanthine, uric acid and ammonia). Antimony deposits in bone, kidney and in organs of the endocrine system. Other symptoms include fatigue, nerve dysfunction affecting muscles, abnormally low blood pressure, angina, and immune dysregulation.

Arsenic (Heavy Metal & Toxic)

Fish & shellfish, air & drinking water, arsenic treated wood, pesticides, fungicides, rat poison, waste environment, smelting processes (e.g. Copper, zinc and lead), chemical and glass manufacturing, paints, burning of arsenate treated building materials, coal combustion, insect sprays, soils (arsenic rich), selenium or iodine deficiency

Accumulates in liver, kidneys, skin, and spleen. Disables alpha-lipoic acid. Potential carcinogen.

Symptoms:

Barium (Heavy Metal & Toxic)

Symptoms:

May damage heart, liver, kidney and spleen. Displaces potassium and increases stress hormone (catecholamines).

Bismuth (Heavy Metal & Toxic)

Drinking water, fruits, vegetables, antacids, anti-diarrhea and ulcer medications, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, automatic sprinklers, fuse alloys, solders, pigments and paints, semiconductors, electronic components, batteries, metal mining and refining, methionine deficiency.

Symptoms:

Confusion, decreased appetite, weight loss, weakness, joint pain, skin rash, tremors, diarrhea, staining on gums.

Excessive soluble Bismuth can be harmful to liver, kidneys, stomach and skin. Symptoms of excess Bismuth usually start with inflammation of the mucous membrane in the mouth and blue/black line or shading of gums, foul breath and constipation or bowel irregularity. More severe Bismuth accumulation causes inflammation of skin, ulceration of oral tissues, nephrosis (edema and protein in urine) with proteinuria (protein in urine indicating kidney stress), jaundice and fatty changes in liver tissue. Severe Bismuth poisoning may result in myoclonic jerks, tremors, speech disorder and mental confusion.

Bismuth should be prescribed in the presence of: gastrointestinal ulcers, frontal headache, bitter taste in the mouth.

Cadmium (Heavy Metal & Toxic)

Seafood, plants, cans and canned food, beverages and aerosols, water, coil and oil combustion, brass, bronze, ceramics, pewter, toothpaste, perfumes, soaps, food additives and dyes, plastics, pesticides, paint, pest repellents, photoconductive film, acidosis will decrease excretion.

Symptoms:

Hyperglycemia, ataxia, headache, vision changes, liver pain. Accumulates in brain, liver, and lymphatics.

Uranium (Heavy Metal & Toxic)
