Senior Application Architect (11/2011 –Present)
George Mason University (Fairfax, VA)
Agile development team leader and  responsible for design and architecture of custom applications for various university departments. All applications are developed in ASP.NET / MS SQL Server. Responsible for maintaining over 60 university websites for various departments. In charge of supporting third party software (i.e. Dynamic Forms) for the university. Also serving as an adjunct faculty for IT department.

Senior Application Architect (08/2008 –11/2011)
Tennessee Board of Regents (Nashville, TN)
Develop and maintain multiple web based enterprise systems for internal and external clients. Responsible for full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of these projects from initial need evaluation to final end-user training. Used Visual Studio (2005, 2008, and 2010) to develop these systems (both in VB.NET & C#) accessing MS Access and MS-SQL Server databases. Other Responsibilities include maintaining over a hundred existing classical ASP database programs along with Windows Server side setup and maintenance of these websites (using IIS) on Windows Server 2003.

Hardware / Software Consulting (01/1993–08/2008)
Kord Consulting (Nashville, TN)
Had a part time computer consulting business, providing turnkey solutions (hardware, software, training, and support) to small businesses. Developed custom database applications to automate data management. Applications included: Inventory Management, Point of Sale Management System, Client’s Information Management, Invoicing, Blood Test Analysis processing, and Report of Findings using Visual Basic, VB.NET, Access, SQL Server, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, and other development tools. Being a Dell VAR (Value Added Reseller), I was able to provide all my clients with appropriate hardware to run these applications. I was also responsible for customer’s need evaluation, design, coding, testing, installation, training, and after sale support for all these applications.

Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager (04/1990 –01/1993)
Compaq Computers (Houston, TX)
Managed a team of 5 SQA test engineers, testing printer drivers for Compaq’s first laser printer. My responsibilities included training and supervision of these test engineers; developing relevant test cases; properly document issues; attending weekly meetings with upper management and Engineering department to report on the latest issues. Frequently traveled to developer’s headquarter (Adobe) to demonstrate and resolve major issues.

Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager (04/1987 –04/1990)
Wyse Technology (San Jose, CA)
Managed a team of 7 SQA test engineers, testing over 3,000 third party software and hardware on new Wyse computers. My responsibilities included training and supervision of these test engineers; test case development; creating a bug tracking system; attending weekly meetings with upper management, Tech. Support, and Engineering department to report on the latest issues; travelling to major account locations to document and resolve compatibility issues.

Application Developer (08/1983 –03/1987)
Ace Computers (Atlanta, GA)
Responsible for providing turnkey systems to major accounts of this computer store. Responsible for all aspects of software development from initial need evaluation all the way to end-user training and after-sale support. Most applications were Database related like Inventory Management, General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, and some engineering calculations. These programs were developed in CBasic, Dbase, or DataFlex.

Application Developer (06/1980 –08/1983)
Frank Rogers DDS (Knoxville, TN)
Developed a Medical Office Management System while attending school. This application included all aspects of managing a doctor’s office from initial appointment setting to providing monthly statements for open accounts. After completion, Dr. Rogers and I became partners and marketed this application to other doctors. I was also responsible for system installation, staff training, and after-sale support.
